In May the Simon Community hosted a themed 1940’s Gala ball ‘Guys & Dolls’ at the Titanic Centre, Belfast.

Supporting this worthwhile cause some members of Cimpina’s management embraced the theme resulting in much surprise with the owners winning the best dressed couple award. (Robert & Jacqueline McCarroll – pictured right). Paul Hamilton (Cimpina’s Business Systems and Development Manager) and his wife Elaine are pictured left.

Over £23K was raised on the night and it was great to hear some of the success stories. It shows that when we work together we can help make our society better even if it only helps one person.

(Back in 1990, when Cimpina first started, we operated out of a unit just in front of the Titanic Centre and adjacent to the former slipways from where the MV Titanic was built. When the new Titanic Centre was built we also undertook elements of the structural steel coded welding.)
