It’s 01:45hrs on Sunday morning, Victoria Terminal 4 in Belfast is quiet apart from Cimpina’s Marine Squads. Northern Marine Management required work to be undertaken on the Stena Superfast VII hull, starboard side. During the preceding 2 weeks, a plan of action was developed , refined and implemented. This culminated during the short lay over period in Belfast where our men had to operate within a tight window from 02:00hrs until 07:00hrs from within and outside the vessel. Our works were NDT inspected and finally approved by the ABS Europe Marine Surveyor, Mr Donald Dunlop. Donald was delighted with the quality of workmanship as it met class requirements and that our guys were very professional and hopes to work with Cimpina in the future.
